Yerba Santa, which means "sacred plant" in Spanish, is also known as "Santa herb" or "holy herb".  Application
 Light the top of the bundle, fan it with air until the flame goes out, and let it smolder. Begin your ritual or ceremony. For example, move the bundle from top to bottom along the aura body or walk anti-clockwise through the room you want to cleanse energetically. Ventilate well.
 At the end of the session or ceremony, you can extinguish the bundle again (check carefully that it is actually out).
 The sage can be lit again and again and used for further rituals.
